The MKII PRO Moth Record Cleaning machine is a development of the MKII, fitted with additional cooling systems allowing for longer duty cycles. Identifiable by the additional red switch on the front panel, designed in the first instance for professional users, record stores etc, the MKII PRO has found much favour with private collectors who have large record collections.

noisy but effective

I have cleaned about 50 records so far and the results are generally good. Really dirty discs I found improve with a second cleaning.The machine is really noisy with the vacuum on, so much that my wife has to leave the room.

If I could suggest one thing that would be for the small disc clamp to be improved.I find that whilst vacuuming with the rotation clockwise the screw down clamp works itself loose which causes the disc to stop.There is then the option to rotate it in the same direction manually or to re tighten the clamp. However it has to be really tight in order to grip and at times I fear I am applying too much force which might cause damage.
